As a published author herself, Marlaena loves sharing with children and adults about the joy of writing, illustrating, and self-publishing their own books. She has presented her book – Black and White Cat, White and Black Dog – to thousands of children and adults.
In her speaking sessions, Marlaena reads from books she wrote, illustrated, and published herself to encourage children and adults to start their own journey toward becoming artists and published authors. She also spends time answering questions about how to be an artist and an author.
